The owners strive to give you an authentic experience of the traditional way of life in the palmery and desert. To this end, they offer local visits and experiences such as cookery lessons and henna tattooing.

It is a good base from which to explore the Tinfou dunes, the Djebel Zagora and the Draa valley palmery on foot or mountain bike (rental close by).

Hazards of the region

Sandstorms can bring travel to a halt. In autumn, at the time of date harvest, flies can be a problem. Electricity supply in the south can be erratic. Behave sensibly to avoid sunstroke - hospitals 3.5 hours away in Ouarzazate.

CAMEL TREKTrek & OVERNIGHT STAY IN NOMAD TENT
The trip is about 2 hours by camel or on foot to reach the camp, which includes individual tents for sleeping and a large tent decorated in Berber style serving as a restaurant, where clients have a choice of menu. Campfire in the evening and lighting by generator and candles. Hot showers and clean modern toilets.
